The Lincoln County Courthouse, where Billy The Kid made his final escape, killing two guards while in captivity and awaiting hanging. Also the Tunstall Store, where Billy The Kid was hidden under the floor boards. The hole in the floor can be seen in the bedroom photo.

Ruidoso, New Mexico

My grandfather Charley, while stationed at Roswell Army Air Field spent some time in Ruidoso, where Billy The Kid had some history. Below is a picture of the Old Dowlin Mill taken circa 1944, and again in 2014, 70 years later.
